I have an excess sweating problem that I finally went to a dermatologist about. He gave me a pill that I take that I'm still not totally convinced is working 100% of the time, but I take it still. He also prescribed a lotion that comes in a tiny bottle it's called DrySol. It's basically a really super strong antiperspirant without the deodorant part. It's so strong, that you use an applicator to put it on, apply at the end of the day after a shower to dry skin when you won't be sweating for several hours, like right before bed, do that 2 days in a row, then you just use it once a week! I use it under my breasts, on my feet, and around my hairline. It really works! I mention it here because it might be a good preventative. I too have used the gold bond and other antifungal powders, but I haven't had to worry about it since using the DrySol. It's not over the counter, and my Walgreens pharmacy had to order it.

yes, creams for nappy rash works. keeps it away and at bay.
in S.A. we have a thing called germoline. i do not know if it available outside of SA, but if you can get your hands on it.....stock up. it helps for many skin probs. including "zits" , rashes, cuts, insect bites..etc. it dries out and do not leave scars or marks. ointment. other options would be any baby product designed for rashes. it truly works.

Yep me too...I use baby powder, but if it gets bad, I do use gold bond and cortisone cream.

It's like eczema. So since I have eczema on my hands, I have everything from Elidel to steroids...I have tried creams/oinments/baby powder in the past. Only problem with baby powder mixed with a cream or ointment is once you sweat, it's almost like dough under there. If you can't get it to clear up with OTC items, see a dermatologist. HTH!

I have had this problem too. A well fitting bra does wonders. Underwire bras are the only ones that work for me. Also on days when I know I'll be out in the heat for a long time I use a bit of Aveeno diaper rash cream. It protects my skin from the moisture so that the rash doesn't get started.

I used to get the rash too. Once it's under control, after your shower use deoderant under there. I haven't had a rash in over 2 years because of the deoderant.

Good tips ladies I have this problem however most of my problem is blackheads. It hardly ever itches, etc. It's just annoying to have so many blackheads under. I think I am on track with those the weight though in order to really solve this problem.

If you are too large on top and want a breast reduction, use this as good ammunition for your insurance to approve a breast reduction. Go to your pcp, have it documented and take pictures, then he will prescribe a cream and it probably will still happen again.

I had a reduction. My back and neck hurt all the time. I was having steroid injections in my shoulders due to pain... The reduction helped me a lot.

Zeesorb is the name of an anti-fungal powder your pharmacist can order for you. It will dry up a skin yeast infection in a hurry.

i work on an organic farm so its sweaty all the time. i use a mixture of about 10% tea tree oil and 90% vitamin E oil. it works really well. just dry off when you are out of the shower. rub it onto the rashy areas and most importantly LEAVE IT ON. i had it so badly that it was bleeding and this cleared it up within an hour. now i use it all the time under by boobs/belly.

Mine doesn't hurt/itch/burn or anything, it's just THERE and it's annoying. I will try the anti-fungal creme and see if that works!

I had a reduction. My back and neck hurt all the time. I was having steroid injections in my shoulders due to pain... The reduction helped me a lot.

I did the exact same thing! I had the worst headache, neck and back pain and the horribly itchy underneath fungal rash and infections. With the help of my pcp and an orthopedic specialist, I had my reduction covered by insurance. I am so sorry that I didn't do it sooner.

Now I don't recommend a reduction easily. I was not sure I wanted to do it but then I grew more uncomfortable and frustrated over the last few years. I had 4 1/2 pounds removed during a 5 hour surgery, coming up on one year ago. It was the best thing I have ever done!! I have gone from a DDD+ to a large B/small C. Now I need a hip, stomach and love handle reduction............

My PCP prescribed anti-fungal products and it helped quite a bit, but the rash always came back, particularly in the summer. It was awful! You may also want to try the anti friction cream by Monistat. It was like a powder in gel form. I don't know if they still make it or not as I haven't used in in a while but that was helpful, too! Good luck!
