I wasn't sure whether to put this in the alternative section or UK.
Basically I just have a question about 'recommended daily allowance' (RDA's) as I think the American supplements have different RDA's to here in the UK/Ireland as they seem to be taking much more than our RDA's. Maybe because of difference standards/laws etc., I don't know. It leads me to a bit of confusion when researching and then reading my bottles!
With your vitamins/EPO/flax/green tea, whatever you take, do you usually take more than the RDA on the bottle to suit your symptoms, research, advice or depending on how you feel or what gives best results?

Well I take just one Multivitamin a day, but I do take Vitamin C. I started taking a 1000mg of Vitamin C around 4 years between August - April each year to keep colds and such like away. I think it works as I would normally get sick a couple of times in the winter but now it's only about once. Sometimes if I am feeling a little run down I'll take 2000mg a day!
I have added lots of supplements but not extra Vitamin C, good thinking I will do that as I have had the sniffles for a few days.
Have been taking alot more than the RDA of Flaxseed Caps and EPO Caps, I haven't died yet and my hair shedding I would say has vaguely improved so I will carry on and see what happens!
