Red face RE appointment this week, some news....

Well I had my RE appointment wednesday. It was to follow up on my excessive bleeding and to see how my iron levels were. Everything looked good on my blood results, prolactin was normal and thyroid was normal. The bleeding is now down to normal when AF comes. I am on birth control and need to stay on it if not TTC. I got the go ahead to TTC with clomid only for 3 more cycles. I will have to do injections after this. I apparently did my lifetime limit of clomid lol. I will take 150mg cd 3-7 when my next AF comes.

I had to have a pap done because I've been having some vaginal irritation for the past month or so. It looks like a yeast infection with vaginal atrophy. I am waiting on those official results today so I can treat it before TTC. The vaginal atrophy is treated by hormone cream I guess. I have to see a specialist for it though.

I am very nervous to TTC again. It took 5 clomid cycles last year to conceive only to be devestated again. I will not attempt TTC this cycle if I see I still have an infection. I don't want to risk anything.

Jennifer

My RE didn't call me back on friday, so I may just go ahead and treat it myself. I read there are some over the counter creams for vaginal atrophy and the usual messy stuff for a yeast infection, YUCK!

Now it's to get back to charting *sigh* lol.
