Hi!

Just wanted to say that Dr. Heber Dunaway (RE) actually gets it! His main practice is in New Orleans, but now sees patients in Baton Rouge. He has me properly diagnosed and treated. I can't say enough about him. Good luck!

Hi... I was curious... who is your OB? Did the RE refer you to an OB that specializes in PCOS? I just found out I'm pregnant and would like an OB that has PCOS experience. I've not heard great things about my current OB and will drive to Baton Rouge or New Orleans if I need to!

I'm done having babies, so Dunnaway is my GYN/RE. He specializes in PCOS and infertility. In New Orleans, you can see Dr. Sissy Sartor. She does not travel to BR. I don't know if the Fertility Institute provides OB services, but still go and see one of them even though you are pregnant. At least get an opinion. Congratulations! Hope this helps. Thanks for the ideas. The Fertility Institute didn't want anything to do with me because I'm pregnant. In their words... "We don't deliver... don't do OB" I tried to explain that I was just wanting to get a referral to a good OB who deals with PCOS and they treated me like I had a third eye and transferred me about 3 times before finally sticking me through to someone's voice mail.

I have an appointment on Friday with Dr. Thomas Kennedy that a friend recommended. She is a former OB and labor and delivery nurse and that's who she goes to. She's seen these guys in action...so maybe he'll be good. He delivered her 3 year old.
