RE In Canada I have been seeing a Gyno at LifeQuest in Toronto. She specializes in infertility. After reading about REs I am thinking that I might need an RE, rather than a gyno with infertility specialty. So I started searching the web and LifeQuest has a new staff member; Timea Belej-Rak MSc, MD, FRCSC she is a RE. I called the College of Physicans in Ontario and they don't keep a record of doctor’s sub-specialty. I was wondering it anyone is interested in creating a list of RE across the country, it might be useful. I am interested in an RE, because my doctor at Lifequest said the meds she is giving me, should correct the hormonal imbalance, however I got my family doctor to run my labs on day 3 or my cycle and my Free Testosterone were still listed as 9.2, down a little from the 9.9 nine months before, but it's not in the normal range. If my hormones are out of whack how can I get pregnant even if I am ovulating? I don't understand how simply addressing the ovulation issue without looking at the other hormonal imbalances will help me. Then again I don't know if an RE would do much more. Anyone has a take on the use of an RE versus an infertility specialist? And should we create a list of REs across the country?
