Default RE or just Endo?

I have been on Met since Feb 2002. I took it for almost a year and then we decided to ttc again and I got pg on my 4th cycle. My periods were not regular though they were different lengths each month. I was on 1000mg. My OB put me on it originally because I asked but he did not test me for IR. I had a m/c in April and afterwards he put me back on 1700mg a day. I have since been having regular 28day cycles O'ing around day 14. This is my 5th cycle since ttc again after the m/c. My question is that I would like to be checked for IR to see if I really am or not and would like to be followed a little more closely. He checked my liver enzymes before putting me on it and they were fine. He also probably checked with the pregnancy screening I am not sure but I don't feel like he is following me as closely as he should. Don't get me wrong I like him alot I just feel he may be too overwhelmed with patients. I thought I might see an endo but I am not sure if it should be an RE or just an Endo. Can anyone give me any suggestions? I am not sure I want to do IF treatment just yet because I have been able to get pg on my own since our initial IF before my oldest was conceived. Any advice would be appreciated. Also if anyone could recommend someone in the FortWorth TX area.

thanks

Hmmm...I think either would be okay, but since you are TTC, why not go to an RE just in case to do need help in the future(I hope you don't)

Good luck!!!
