Thank you Mary and Delila for the referrals. I started seeing RE by the name of Dr. Frederick Licciardi from NYU Infertility. He seems okay my only thing is that I am not used to seeing a male and I was quite nervous. He is also somewhat expensive, $450 for the consult and I have to pay for the blood test he ran which is about $90 for each and then he sent me for a biopsy which costs $400 and then I did a hystogram (HSG) which is a $1000.00. At least the internal sonogram was included in the consult. I was hoping that he was able to give me injectibles.
You see my husband is overseas, Afghanistan and he is getting R&R in October so I had wanted to get injectibles so I can TTC for the two weeks I would see him in Germany. But the RE said he cannot do that cause he needs to monitor me everyday. So he wants to to collect his speciman and do IVF. Ughhh. So now I have to find a place in Germany that would collect the speciman and ship it to the U.S.

Sorry for the babbling brook! But I truly want to say thank you for the two docs. If I dont see any results with this guy I will definetly try the others. Congrats Mary on your pregnancy and good look Delila on you TTC

Mary it is funny that you gave me RMA of NY I sent the billing guy an e-mail to find out the prices there and he never contacted me. Are they expensive?

Nadine - Good Luck. That is not a bad thing the IVF. It is just more expensive but you have a much better chance of conceiving the first time. I don't know how my dr prices breakdown but they are all extremly expensive. My IVF will cost approx $7500.00 plus injectables which should be about $1600=$2000.00. I know it includes all bw and u/s but I don't know if it includes the assistied hatching and ICIS(I am not sure if that is right), that I need. I would bet it doesn't. I also have a friend who started with RMA of NY but I haven't heard anything on them yet....but she has excellent insurance anyway. Good luck to you & DH.

Sorry, I'm not sure, my visits were covered by insurance. That's pretty stupid of them not to contact you, though....
