Well if you ever happen to have to see Dr P again you can feel free to mention that you know of my story and are hoping/praying for the best. I think if you mention my name he will know exactly what you are referring to. Best of luck and I really hope it continue to go well for you.

Melanie Grace joined our family 1/12/07 - 7 lbs 4ozs. She left our lives way too soon on 1/28/2008 due to mitochondrial disease. She will forever be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. We love you and miss you dearly.....
So how is it going? Have you had any more appts? I hope everything is okay.

andrea, last week's appointment wasn't good. The sac grew but they couldn't see anything and my betas only increased by 3000 in a week (9000 from 6000). I'm still not bleeding or feeling any cramping though, so I'm still holding out for a miracle. I'll have another appointment this Thursday and go from there. Since I'm planning to go the natural route instead of a D&C if things don't go well, I will convince Dr. G to let me continue my shots as even though things don't look good, the sac is still growing and the betas are still increasing.
Thanks gals! I moved my appointment tomorrow to Monday because of the weather (my DH doesn't want to drive until our car's tires are replaced this weekend). I also scheduled an u/s with an independent lab that afternoon just to rule out any technical problems with MLF.
Honey, you definitely deserve a second opinion. I HIGHLY suggest Penn Medicine at Radnor. Their docs serve the Main Line area and also have offices in Center City. My RE is Clarissa Gracia. She is phenomenal. The other docs are outstanding too. Give them a call at 610-902-2000.
Good luck and never lose hope!

Hi gals! Unfortunately my story does not end in a happy ending. We went to MLF this morning and the sac did not grow and it was still empty. Dr. G gave us three options moving forward, and we chose the most natural and will wait out the miscarriage to happen within two weeks. I will then have another u/s two weeks from now to check if I pass all the tissues.
I went to Abington after my appointment to verify everything. In Abington, they had a really thorough u/s session where they even saw that I am starting to bleed a little as my lining is ready to shed.
In the end, I guess it is not God's time for us. I'm going with my DH on a couple of conferences in March and we will have an FET cycle late March. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and in particular that the miscarriage passes uneventfully without any complications. Thank you for thinking about us the past two months!
Aww sweetie I am so so sorry. I was rooting for you so much. It will happen. I am here for you when ever you need to talk. You can also email if you like cocolinaaaa@yahoo.com

Thanks, Linaa. I'm doing fine (except for the cramping part). It's sad but it's a little easier to accept than what happened with my twins as this time I know I did everything possible to help my baby but we don't have any control with a blighted ovum.
I'm looking forward to starting a FET cycle soon. Linaa, I wish you the best on your coming cycle and pray that we both have our babies on the upcoming cycle! I will check your blog on your progress.
Thanks hun. I did not know you had a previous loss. I am so sorry. I am still waiting for AF since the m/c stopped. I have an annual pap appointment on the 16th if no AF by then, then I will ask for provera. I have to do an HSG before I can have another medicated cycle. Good luck to you as well.

Thanks, girls! I had my m/c last night at church! I went to see Dr G today and he wants me have an FET cycle ASAP while my lining is still thick so I don't have to go through BCPs. I'll probably start provera in two weeks and he said that we'll work around my vacation days when I said me and my DH were planning a couple of trips in March.
Well, AF came full force this morning and when I say full forse I mean the dam broke!!! I called and spoke w/ Nurse Lisa and my HSG is set for the 19th when Dr. O comes back from vaca. No meds this cycle...but hopefully we will be good to go for next cycle (mid to late March-my Bday is in April so come on Bday BFP!!! lol). So we may be very close indeed darling.

Truebeliever - I am sorry that this ended up being a miscarriage for you. But how exciting that Dr. G. wants to get right on the ball and start an FET cycle for you. And that is good that he can work around your vacation time.
Linaa - I so hear you about AF. I started on Friday and Saturday was not pretty. Hopefully you will get good news with your HSG. I have heard of several women who have gotten pregnant after having one done, I guess it just kind of "cleans" everything out. Good luck!
