I just used Nair for the very first time and it did fine on my legs. I used it on my underarms and it has completely set one of them on fire. It didn't say not to use it on your underarms. Anybody have suggestions on how to soothe the irritation?

Thanks for all of the advice ladies. It works wonderfully on legs, don't put it on any sensitive skin or skin that could possibly be irritated or broken. Lesson learned. Aloe works well by the way.

My close friend did the exact same thing recently with the same results. Unfortunately, she had to deal with it for about a week before it improved. I would suggest aloe or even a bacitracin-like ointment.
