I read this in a first magazine today and thought I'd share it here w/everyone. I stated that the chemical Triclosan that is used in antibaterail detergents and soaps is thought to suppress thyroid hormone metabolism.

Has anybody heard this before.?

I just recentely a couple weeks ago, started to replace my health and beauty products w/as natural as I can find products.Was reading on the internet about DEA and MEA chemical and how they cause cancer in lab animals,so I decided to switch and see if I start feeling better.Well I made a couple mistakes when I bought a body wash by J/A/S/O/N ,I was looking at the ingredients and it had Lauramide DEA listed on it and I also bought some dandruff shampoo by them for my husband and it had the same thing in it.I think I might try the Aubrey line. As anybody tried them?

mother to twins boy and girl,3 yrs. old 2-28-02.,married since 97.
actos 30 mg's 7-16-04.
6-14-04 synthroid 75 mcg's per day. Wt. 220 ,5 ft 8in.
TTC again as of 5-20-05 w/o any help this time ,hoping for a miracle.

Have you tried any of the Body Shop products? They are usually natural and chemical free.
