Default Readers Digest lists PCOS as one of the 10 diseases doctors miss most!!!

The February 2004 issue of Readers Digest has a list of the 10 diseases doctors miss most and PCOS was one of them. I don't think it does that great of a job describing it, but it does list insulin resistance as one of the symptoms. It is pretty interesting, even though it is only about half a page long. Maybe it can help more women get diagnosed with it.

Thanks for letting us know about this article, Jenny. I'll have to ask my Mom for her February 2004 issue of Reader's Digest when she's finished with it.

Default Very True

The interesting part is that it is usually only allopathic/conventional medical doctors that miss the diagnosis, while naturopathic/holistic doctors diagnose it and resolve it more easily.
