ive got really really really dry skin in my hands. My skin on my hands is all crumpled looking, My gp said it is contact dermatitis, but didnt recommend anything for me to use. Ive changed soap, washing up liquid, etc but it hasnt made any difference,
so i thought id ask my cysters their advice. At the moment i am using Vaseline .
I have the same problem as you, my hands and fingers are horrible. The cream that i am using is vaseline. I am applying it onto my hands at least three times a day. How many times do you apply your cream?
thanks for your reply ive been using vaseline, too. I put it on lots, about 3-4 times a day. Other times in the day (about 2) i use aloe vera hand cream from the health shop.

Do you think the dry skin could be to do with the cold weather we have had? i know cold weather can cause dry skin, i am still using my vaseline, my hands look horrible at the moment.
hmmmmm- yes could be the weather making it worse. Was thinking...... maybe we are alergic to the plastic casing of the nintendo ds?? (only joking!)

I had this a really bad case of it it was horrible and painful I started using Eucerin calming cream and it went a way within a week.
vaseline always made it worse for me.
hi ladies. I also had really dry hands. I still get it sometimes. This is what I do to fix it.
Have you heard of nitrile gloves? They are blue or silver in the Dr.s office. You can buy them at home depot in the paint section. It costs about 6-10 bucks for a box of like 100. Get the powderfree ones! That is important! I use Lurbriderm intense skin repair. I put on about 7 pumps, or nearly a full tablespoon. Slather it on, then put the nitrile gloves on and leave them on for a few hours! Take them off and rub in the extra lotion. Do this another time that day if you can. I do these almost everyday while I am at work. I dont have dry hands anymore. hth

Just think, if the world didn't suck, then we'd all fall off!
I have used http://www.udderlysmooth.com/productsudderlysmooth.html with great success. I have suggested it to other friends and it has worked great for them too.
Not sure if it is available in the UK, but maybe they have something similar that may help.
