Default Really embarassing...butt hair

Hello Ladies....Today I just made an appointment to go get my bikini waxed. I am dreading it!! Not b/c of the bikini wax but I am going to ask her to wax my butt. ( sorry for being so graphic) I have a lot of dark hair on one side of my butt..down my thigh. Anyway i guess she has probably seen it all right? But I was wondering if any of you guys have had this area waxed? Any responses adn support would be very appreciated. I hope i make it to the appt adn don't chicken out!!!!

Default Hi x

Hi there x
I get hair anywhere a guy does....legs, thighs, but, tummy, breasts, chin, lip....the list is endless!!!
The hair on my lip and chin is soft and easy to remove so far, which is suprising as I have such thick, dense hair.
Everywhere else it is wirey and I hate it...I just use an electric razor....sometimes....hubby does my butt for me....lol...I know most women would die rather than ever let their S.O know they have hair there, but I am married to a really lovely understanding guy and we just giggle our way through it...alot of the time the intimate contact leads to more fun things!!!
I have considered in the past asking a beautician to do it and even called one and she said she hadnt done it before but was quite willing to do it for me...needless to say...I chickened out and did it myself...anyway, in my experience, using a dry razor helps, you dont get stubble.
So, try calling before hand and ask does she have a problem with doing your butt, at least if she refuses its not to your face and by the time you get there for the bikini wax, it should be forgotten x
Good luck either way x
Stephanie x

Angry Bum hair Oi!

Ohh I hate the bum hair so much. My Fiance loves my butt, he loves to touch it. This is a problem for me because I have to keep it smooth and shaved everyday. I use an electric razor for this part of my body. I think I should look into waxing it. It would be better for me to have a complete stranger wax my bum rather than let my bf see the hair, he has no idea about it, at least I hope. Good luck, and think of the person waxing as a Doc and they HAVE seen it all trust me. My sister's hubby had his waxed and he said the beautician said she has had both men and woman wax their bum many of them, mos tof them woman! so have no fear.

Default Ahh...

Jaimevegas,

I would be gutted if hubby didnt know about the hair...he loves me, all of me....I ask him often..."babe, SURELY this must make you look at me differently...how can you find me so sexy and love to touch me when you help me do this?"....his reply is normally to tell me off....in his eyes you love someone you love them unconditionally...you love their body...no matter what extra they have/are missing....he is an absolute star and, just in my rose coloured glasses...if a man expects a woman to be any more or less than she is naturally, he isnt worth being around.
I have never really had a partner who had a problem with it...maybe I just am lucky to have had some good people in my life.
Stephanie xx

I understand what you are saying. I know in my heart that this man loves me with all his heart and would continue to do so even if I broke down and brought all of my symptoms to light. It is just a matter of time before I tell him. It is a huge issue for me, but I know it wouldn't be for him. For now I can't bring myself to come out of the closet. He probably knows something is up though. Thank you for the reply. I hope someday soon I will be able to tell him, At least before we marry.

Default I understand Jaime

Its the same for me! I think I've found the man of my dreams...and hes never given me any reason to believe he won't accept absolutely everything about me. I've hinted around at things I'm "uncomfortable and embarassed" to tell him....hes actually been hurt by it. It bothers him that I'm worried about him not accepting "whatever it is".

Its just that it, ofcourse, makes me feel like I'll be less of a woman in his eyes. Argh!! I'm tearing up just typing this!

So basically, I just wanted to let you know Jaime that I think we all identify with what you are going through. Its just something that I think we have to suck in a deep breath and blurt out one of those quiet nites when you're snuggled up in bed.

It will be fine.

Thank you very much for your post, I feel a little better and little more motivated to telling him, but it is so hard still. I will try to leave a hint maybe, like an article on PCOS that includes a section on excess facial/body hair. maybe he will get the hint I am trying to open the book on this issue? I can't bring myself to just come out and say I SHAVE MY FACE! ohhh nooo, the thought makes me cringe. lol

If it makes you feel any better.... I once complained about my butt hair to my partner at the time.. I felt so unwomanly about it. He just laughed and said, "Everyone has butt hair, sweety." When I suggested that wasn't the case, he replied, "Who do you think has had their hands on more female bottoms, you or me?" Well the only female bare butt I have touched is my own, so I had to concede he had me beat on that one. He said the amount of hair there varies, and true some women don't have any, but most have it! I was really surprised. It's not that abnormal, apparently. I think probably we have more cause of the PCOS, but women with normal hormones often have hair there too. We just aren't used to seeing it, cause most women have it removed through brazilian bikini waxing..... Anyway, ever since then, I've had a different outlook on it. I don't even mention it to a new partner, cause I figure they've seen it before. Of course, I'd still like for it to be gone....(sigh).
