I started spotting after being on met for 3 days and now I am on CD 11 and I am still spotting. I would really like to know if it is normal to have AF stay around for so long the first time you get it with met? I feel really drained cause my body is not used to it. Someone please help me understand what is going on.

If it's been quite a while since your last period, they can be longer. My first several periods on met were a week or so...now they are about 3 days start to finish.

I would call your Doc to be on the safe side, but I think longer periods is somewhat normal at first. Call the doc to rule out other things and hopefully as you get more regular on the drug it will help shorten the bleeding part of the cycle.
