Default Really need an efriend to help...

Hi everyone...

I am really in need of a buddy who is going through not only PCOS, but hypothryoidism as well. I knew I had PCOS, but the fairly recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism was daunting...and well in general I have been pretty frustrated/blue with it.

I've realized what I need to do, and I want to take care of myself and manage my two problems. But it would help out if I had someone to email a bit back and forth with, someone with basically the same goals.

I'm 29, a Marketing Director and Graphic/Web Designer for a small Inc., no children [and don't want any], engaged to a fabulous and sexy man, and have many varied interests. I'm considering going back for a Masters degree soon.

I'm 5'9" and weigh around 220-224. My goal weight is 170 even though the doctors say I should weigh 150 [I think that will be way too thin!].

I have a wasteful membership to a gym that I used to attend on a regular basis, but after so much fatigue set in I just couldn't go.

My dose of Synthroid was increased about three weeks ago and I'm glad to say I feel 100% better, and to a point in which I am ready to exercise again.

If anyone out there would like to be my efriend, please please don't delay in sending me a private message.

Merry Christmas!

Default So excited!

Hey! I am so excited about you! We have so much in common except that I want kids. Are you a vegetarian? I read your post about a recent rick and bubba show. I am but I just Hate the taste of meat, fish, etc. As a matter of fact, despite my size I hate the taste of everything but carbs. it seems. I work on Drake Ave. in Huntsville at an aerial mapping company in their photo lab, where do you work? My birthday is also in Oct., the 19th, we're libras, woohoo!! balance and harmony here we come (ok at least we're trying to). I want to also start a weight loss program. I'm thinking weight watchers because it's the easiest for me since low carb would mean pretty much cheese and eggs for me. What kind of diet are you going to go with? I won't be joining a gym but I have an "exercise room" here at my house.

I"m 5'0 and vary around 200. I've been hypothyroid since 1999. I was hyper before that. I was diagnosed PCOS in 2002. So unlike you, I knew I was hypo first. Feel free to IM me anytime on yahoo at this name if you'd like to talk.
