Default Rectal pressure--sorry if TMI

For the last few days I have been experiencing extreme pressure. Kinda like you have to have a bm, but when you try to push, it hurts bad. Sorry, for TMI. Anyone experience this? It's terrible.

Default no such thing as TMI with women

I have that problem when I am constipated. When was your last BM and was it very firm (don't actually have to answer, just think about it) Some helpful home remedies are black coffee (works every time, husband does this before weigh ins in the Army) Pears are full of fiber as well or just a tall glass of warm water. If nothing works and it becomes unbearable by an enema at
Wal- Mart for about 2 bucks. Make sure you don't have any bleeding with your BM though or any other sign a doc might be needed.

What does now in 2ww and crossing everything mean?

Also what is ds 11 mean I have not seen this before please educate my poor soul

June, it means she has a son who is 11 years old.

DH = dear hubby
DS = dear son
DD = dear daughter

Sorry, I can't answer what the 2ww means.

Constipation is the first thought.

But I also had ahesions attached to my bowel and we believe it is what causes the pain. I have this daily with all BMs. If I forget my Gluc one night, the next days BM is even more painful.

So for me Gluc keeps things moving at a thinner rate for my bennifit.

Hang in there, any increase you should talk to your Dr about it.
It can be IBS(iritable bowel syndrome).

I should have been more clear. I am not constipated at all. It's just when I need to go and have to push, it hurts my butt. It kinda feels like my insides are going to fall out. Gross, I know!

And ds is darling son
2WW means I was inseminated and am waiting 2 weeks for the pregnancy results.

I have two questions for you..when you say it hurts is it inside or closer to your rectum? Do you think maybe you have hemmoroids?? I know they can make it really uncomfortable.

Maybe you have a 'fisure' (sp) my dh had that...a little 'rip' right where it hurts...he was in so much pain once he wanted me to call 911!!! He was on the can and he's almost crying (he'd kill me for saying that )...i made him go to the doctor even though i thought he was just being a big baby...but doc actually said he had a bit of an 'ulcer' or something...sorry cant remember for sure... and put him on meds...somehow that affected his eliminations...

he was also told to STOP eating entire jars of banana peppers at one sitting...so apparently 'diet' can affect it too

Kim,
I hope I can help you. I have been feeling the same way the past couple of days, but I feel good today.

I have been experiancing a dull ache accross my lower abodomen, mainly on the left side along with what I call "bowel cramps". It hurts sometimes when I sit on something. I also have normal bm's. I was thinking it could either be gas or maybe I have an enlarged ovary or someting and it is possibly pushing on my bowels??

My friend also gets this right before AF or during the first few days. I am going to mention it to my doctor the next time I go in. I have also been taking ibuphrofen and using my heating pad. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Default I have that problem

When I have a BM, sometimes I feel like my rectum is going to spit in two and the pain makes me want to scream. There is no blood so the best I can figure is...I need more fiber. I am also under stress and very depressed right now. I wonder if it has something to do with it????

Glad you brought it up!

Hmmm I guess it's more just inside the rectum that is hurting. Not the rectum itself. It's so hard to explain.

Default Fell Your Pain!

I know exactly what you are saying and I can say that I feel it and understand what you are going through! But, I can't tell you what it is.

Here's how I describe it, tell me if this is you as well. You get a pain, in your rectum...very bad pressure that feels like it will rip you apart. Yet, when you head to the bathroom and try to go, the pressure flairs up like a cramp and forces you to stop pushing. You have to sit there until it subsides and try again. Sometimes going relieves the pressure entirely and sometimes not. Did I get it?

YES! Exactly. It's almost like the feeling is so un-natural the natural thing to do is stop pushing. I am sorry you go through it too, but glad I'm not the only one.

Is it a constant thing for you?

No, thank goodness, it is not a constant thing. Is it for you?

When it does happen, it is almost debilitating. I can hardly sit from the pain and often have to stop what I'm doing and just go home!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I definitely feel that it is neither constipation or hemoroids (sp?). I posted about it here once before but got no response. Perhaps we are the only two!

I get the same thing, and have linked it with ovulation. I have no idea what it is. It is overwhelming when it strikes! Can't sit up, can't stand up all the way, etc. I once literally crawled from one room to another when it struck.
