Default Recurrent Miscarriage: Hysteroscopy 4/2

Hi-

I have been lurking mostly... in limbo since the ectopic/loss of tube on Feb 13. I was supposed to have this hysteroscopy on Feb 13- and we found out that we were pregnant and ectopic the same week... ended up having a emergency laproscopy for ectopic and loss of tube on Feb 13th anyway- how ironic. But now I am going in tomorrow to complete this long journey of recurrent miscarriage testing... and although the "hysteroscopy" isn't necessarily part of the list for testing... dh and I decided we'd like to know as much as possible in terms of whether or not there is something inside my uterus that could be causing pre-term labor... We know from the laproscopy that the outside of my uterus is fine (good news).... minus the left tube now.

I am kind of scared. Each time I have had a surgery I have gone in under emergent situations... didn't have time to think about being 'put under' ... this week I have worried about the "what if's..." and I have also wondered what if the news I get tomorrow is too much for me to bare? I hope the news will help us have closure... but I am not sure how I will be able to deal with it.

Well- just thought i would pop in... hoping you are improving every day...

Karen

Hi Karen,

I just wanted to wish you luck for your procedure. I am so scared everytime I have to go under for any kind of surgery. So much so that I often ask if the procedure can be done with a spinal block.

I know you'll be just fine. I'am praying for you. I know you don't know me too well but I just wanted to tell you that I often think about you and what you have gone through and I think your a very strong woman.

Good Luck

Michele

I was terrified knowing for a week that I would have to be under for a D&C. I thought I wouldn't wake up. Of course, my DH talked sense into me & said that the odds of not coming out where very slim. I'm also starting RPL Testing next week so we can go through this hard time together if you'd like.

Good Luck,
Traci

What's the news? I really hope things went well and you are doing OK.

Much love,

I haven't been around much lately...

But the hysteroscopy went well... turns out I have a healthy, normal uterus.... no explanation for recurrent losses...

How are you doing Mera? I have wondered how you have been...

Hugs,
Karen

I'm doing pretty well; we had an IUI a week ago so I'm on pins and needles waiting to test.

I'm sorry that you didn't get any answers, Karen - you have been through so much. Please know that you are in my prayers.

*hugs*
