Default Recurrent Miscarriage Testing?

Hi everyone. Hoping to find out what kind of testing I can do before i see the gyno? My general doctor tested me for thrombophilia but came back ok. It saves time if i can get my general doctor to run tests before i go to specialist, and saves lots of money. However she doesn't know much about this area, but allows me to get tests for whatever i want - it cant hurt.

Im lucky enough to be tested after second loss, because OB said that it was unusual that i lost - everything was going well at 9 weeks scan, then at 10 weeks she was gone. I had the chromosones tested, all ok. Very hard finding out that i had a little girl . I have A+ blood, so its not res neg.

Im kinda hoping i have a problem, that way we can work to fix it and try again knowing i have a solution. But my OB said it just might be really bad luck.

Any names of blood tests that i can have would be greatly appreciated!

Oh, and is there any conditions that only show up during pregnancy?

thanks girls.

I have lupus anticoagulant...and I did a lot of research on clotting disorders. Some clotting issues can come and go, and sometimes only be present during pregnancy. While I tested negative several different times, I did test positive on the 5 time. So I would push for Lovenox or Heparin, at a minimum take aspirin.

Good luck!

My Dr. is running a panel for a diagnosis of "habitual abortion." It's a God-awful name for recurrent miscarriages. She showed me the list, most of which I can't remember, but it seemed like it was 20-25 tests. She also thinks it may be a clotting disorder, so I'll keep those drugs in mind if it is.
