Hey Cysters!
I am so very thankful for this site. I don't talk to anyone about PCOS. It's still very new and I am still recovering from the Dx. I know I should be getting on with my life, but the fertility news really reached my soul. For months I keep having the same dream. Almost every night I dream of being PG... of being able to feel that baby inside of me. When other little girls were socializing and playing with Barbies, I was shut in my room with all my little dollies. When we went around the room sharing our occupational dreams in school, I was the little girl who "just wanted to be a Mommy". I know that there is always hope, and I refuse to give that up, but these dreams are driving me nuts. I am so happy to have the feeling bc the images feel so real, yet I am so upset when I wake up to an empty womb. I can't tell anyone around me, they don't understand. I hope one of you might.
I feel so bad for you. Just don't forget that there is always hope. I am not very familiar with your previous posts, so I do not know your medical history. Is PCOS your only diagnosis? Many women on this board are able to have children, and it looks like they have a pretty high success rate. PCOS may be incurable, but remember that there are always options. Some women here can get pregnant just by losing a little weight and taking metformin(Glucophage). I don't want you to feel discouraged and I know how overwhelming this can all be at first, but I am sure after you speak to more people with PCOS you will feel more confident. I will try to keep an eye out for posts from you and answer any questions I can. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. GOOD LUCK!
StaciieM.

Hi, I wanted to pop in and comment on your dreams.
I just had a hysterectomy in April that took everything out except one ovary.
It seems to be a phenomena with the post hysterectomy ladies to have a huge assortment of disturbing dreams.
Many of the dreams I have heard others tell are just like yours regarding babies and bringing up real emotional feelings of the whole empty womb thing because literally they no longer have wombs.
I've heard many an explaination on this as it seems to happen so often, but the best theory I feel comfortable with is most probably the whole dredging up of the subconscious is due to a huge fluctuation of hormones.
So, you might want to talk to your doctor about doing a hormone level test and see if you find some answers there.
It possible that you are dealing with a real physical medical problem
Take Care,
Kate

Thanks for all your replies... it's great to have people who listen. I went to the doctor and I was too scared (and kinda freaked out) because they found a tumor. Well, I chickened out of asking... but I have another appt next month for the stupid tumor thing. I'm going to make a list of things to ask them. AND this time I'll ASK! I think I may be moderately depressed so I'm going to ask them about that too. Anyway, God Bless... thanks again for the help!!
(((HUGS!)))

According to dream interpretation , a dream of being pregnant and birthing a baby has always been a sign of new beginnings entering our lives. It may be a new job, a move or a new idea coming to fruition. Look for something in your life that you have worked hard on. It may even be the final acceptance and understanding why you may not birth a child. The universe is showing you that something is coming to be. Dreams of child birth are not usually an indicator of a child, but an idea or quest finally coming to actually be a part of your life.
i am a friend of Julie 21. i am a third generation clarivoyant and have counselled many over the last ten years. i have also lectured at medical lab tech, and esthetic conventions on the ideas of stress management; that we do have our own answers in life; and how there are many benefits to positive thoughts along with other methods (ie stone therapy, color therapy, meditation, journalling) are used in conjuction with medical treatments. By trade i was also an esthetician, massage therapist and esthetic educator. i do believe that you are not being told by your dream that you are going to have a baby, but that you are finally going to have something complete and 'birth' into your life.
