Default red rash/pimpled arms?

I know some cysters who also have these and wonder if you did/do...

I never wear anything sleeveless anymore because they embarass me. Both arms, more significant in the upper arms have pimple thingys on them. They turn in to (sorry to be gross) white pussy ones the week before my cycle. Since I have been on hormone balancing herbs the past 3 weeks, they are chilling out...I am hoping as I get more balanced they will get less and less and maybe disappear.

Anyone else get these???

I know how you feel. The weather is starting to get warmer and I don't like to wear short sleeve shirts, never mind tank tops or sleevless. My arms look like I have had mosquito bites on them and they have some scabbing. I have tried all kinds of acne creams on them but what I found to work a little is I wash them several times a day and I scrub a bit harder than usual then I put peroxide on them to try to dry them up. It seems to be working some but It's only been about 1 week. So I will know more in a couple more weeks. If I find out anymore remedies I will pass them on. Hopefully one of them will work.

P.S. Is it just on your arms or is it on your breasts and stomach too? Mine are on all these places.

I don't know if this is the same thing or not. I have little pinkish/white dots on my upper arms that has white stuff in them when I "squeeze" them..yuck, I know...I am really fair complected and this has bothered me all my life. I have never been able to wear sleeveless things because I hate them so much. For the past year or so I have been shaving my arms because I hated that they were so hairy....seems to be working...no more "stuff" in them. Now it looks like I have a lot of small "freckles" on my arms. I put lotion on them and find that they don't get clogged like they did when I didn't shave my arms.

PS: I only have to shave them about once a week...the theory that the hair would grow back fast or thick does not hold true for me. I really like the look of my smooth arms...

I have these too, but nothing comes out of them, a lot anyway. Like pimples.
Have you tried an exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot scrub? Exfoliating those lil suckers, everyday gently, usually helps--I say it's the dang hormones all whacko

Good luck

I've found that a daily exfoliator helps me too. I use Daily Scrub by Got 2Be face. I found it's a little less aggressive than the St. Ives, although I use that on my face.

I've had a similar thing to the clogged pores with white stuff coming out when you squeese them, almost like an ingrown hair but not irritated.
You might need a combo cortisone/anti fungal cream from the Dr. That's what mine gave me and it seems to work. That and there's a neutrogena lotion (that smells and feels fairly awful) that seems to help the situation. It's one of those hard things, but don't pick at them, all it does is make things scab.

I have these on the back of my upper arms too, with a few random ones that pop up on my forearms. I exfoliate with a sugar scrub a couple of times a week and use a skin renewal serum daily. I really like Clinique's Total Turnaround, but it's horribly expensive. Still, it's doing a beautiful job!

Sounds like keratosis pilaris. Does it look something like this?

Yes Amanda...it does look like that!! Interesting...it has a name! I was also reading in my Insulin Resistance Diet book last night ....and was so excited that I about fell out of bed that the bumps may be a deficincy of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. I started taking them again last night...we shall see if there is any improvement.
