Question Reduced Appetite/Breakfast ideas

Prior to starting met, I gained weight like CRAZY and it seemed like no matter what I ate, I was craving carbs all the time.

Now that I've been on the met for a while, there are times when I really couldn't care less about eating. Times when I have NO appetite. This of course, frustrates my hubby who loves to ask what we're having for dinner. I have a hard time even thinking about planning a meal, when food is the furthest thing from my mind.

Does this happen w/you??

Also, in the past my traditional breakfast foods have been very carb based (cereals, toast, english muffins, bagels, etc.....all high in carbs) I know some carbs are good, but other than eggs, do you have any ideas?

Default

I have the same problem. For a girl that used to feel hungry constantly, it's odd to have some days that I have to make myself eat so I can take my meds.

Besides eggs, (Which I limit to 3 eggs per week), some of my breakfasts:

The the bread I eat has 16 g carb per slice and a piece with some lean turkey is a delicious breakfast.

I sometimes have half a bagel with light cream cheese and a glass of milk too.

I have touted my favorite breakfast around the diet forum a lot...cottage cheese with "mandarin magic" fruit cups (mandarin oranges and peaches). 1/2 of the little cups (even before the syrup is drained off) is 15 carb grams and it is delicious mixed into the cottage cheese. I always try to keep fruit on hand and eat it with cheese or cottage cheese...it's a great breakfast that isn't heavy on my stomach.

Hope it helps.
