I saw my GP today to say I was diagnosed with PCOS during treatment to get Pg and to start the ball rolling so to speak. I have to admit I was really nervous and expecting a bad response. I am so glad I went now, after putting it off for so long. My Doc was really helpful and once a little research has been done will refer me to the right people who can help. I'm sooooo chuffed. I feel a bit brighter about things now and hope I can get it sorted out. I'm just wondering how long it will take to get an appointment after being referred - does anyone out there have any ideas? Knowing the NHS it will probably be ages!

So glad you appointment went well. A supportive GP is a wonderful thing. It depends on where you live, but I got referred to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and it took about three months. My appointmentr card came through a while before the actual date so I knew what was hapening. That was for the centre for reproductive health.

Im so glad that your appointment went well My appointment date came about a week later and I had to wait about three months for the date. But like you say you know what the NHS is like, but at least the ball is rolling
