Default Regular AF= Oing?

I was wondering if getting regular AF cycles on Met means you are definately Oing?

I got AF 11 days after starting Met....still have it 8 days later, although it hasn't been heavy and clotty like it usually is when I get AF on my own after months of not having it.

I am just curious if I should forget about my chances for Oing this month...since I should prob expect it to happen in about 6-8 days...and I'm nervous that I'll still have AF.

Is it even possible to get PG if I do O and I'm still at the tail end of AF?

A little background....my last AF was Jan 11 and when I've gone that long between cycles I usually have it for 14 days (although much much much heavier than this time).

Sorry I am unsure, that is a good question though. Most woman though do not ovulate right away after starting Met. Unfortenetly in can take a while even if you get your period right away. I am not trying to get your hopes down I just wanted you to know because many woman wonder the same thing. Best of luck to you..

I don't think it's likely that you will O during AF. Also, bleeding doesn't mean O, and it can take awhile for your body to start O'ing on Metformin, even if you start getting AF. Hang in there!

If you just now started met you may not O right away. You may wish to try BBT charting to look for ovulation.

my first month using it i got AF and then O'ed on cycle cd24 which is later than when i was on clomid. i definately recommend investing in the clearblue fertility monitor to track if/when you O.
