 Reiki Cysters?
I did a little search for reiki on the forums, but they were all pretty old so I thought I would start a new one. I don't have a lot of experience with Reiki, but a gal I know from my dentist's office is a Reiki Master. A few weeks ago she and I were talking about the struggles I've had with infertility and PCOS and she asked if I'd tried alternative therapies for it. She asked if I would be open to trying Reiki because she hadn't had an opportunity to work with anyone on fertility issues using Reiki and she would love to give it a shot. I told her I would like to and she asked to do a little right there.
Here is basically what happened: She held my hand (we were at the dentist's office) and just got a feel for what was going on then said that she would like to open my ovaries. She told me to tell her when I could feel something happen in my ovary and when I felt a tingling sensation I told her I felt it. She did the other then asked me if I felt anything. I did feel a fullness in my lower abdomen and she seemed very pleased by this.
I don't know much about Reiki so this may seem all very naiive to someone who does, but I am wondering how this compares to other people's experiences. I didn't have time to stay and ask a bunch of questions, but I was wondering if opening my ovaries meant that I could have ovulated then? The reason I ask is because my period has recently started to regulate a bit and I was on day 2 on my period when she did this. Within an hour after my Reiki experience my period stopped completely without spotting or anything. It went from a pretty good flow to completely stopped. I've continued to have a fullness in my lower abdomen since and some twinges/tingles in my ovarie and nipples. No bleeding or spotting, I even took a pregnancy test a few days after to rule out implantation bleeding and got a BFN.
Any interpretations of this or advice? I am a major novice here. |
