Default Relaxation Techniques?

Has anyone taken classes for relaxation techiques, ie. yoga, etc? Were they helpful? I know medication helps, to calm the nerves, but for those who opted out on meds, do you find relaxation or mediation helps to calm your nerves?

Well hopefully this month I will be seeing a cognative therapist! They are suposed to teach you ways to deal with stress and what to do when you are feeling certian ways!

I will definatley keep you updated!

My regular doc said exercise helps, and if you are feeling anxious try things like going for a walk or doing something you like to keep your mind off of it!

Best of luck!

Yes keep me posted. My primary dr. said the same. Exercise helps to relieve stress and anxiety, and also B-Complex Daily vitamin supplements.
I have started both as of yesterday. I still get anxious at times, but I try to talk myself through them, to calm myself down. It's easier when you know.
