Default remedies for thin endometrium when TTC?

I've been TTC for more than a year, inducing ovulation with injections of gonadotropins for 4 cycles. But each cycle, my lining has been extremely thin, which lowers my chances of conceiving tremendously. After much research, I've found article on some remedies, but I was hoping you could add to it, so I can present this list to my RE should I need to do another cycle

TIA!
  • baby aspirin
  • L-arginine
  • vitamin E + pentoxifylline
  • grapeseed extract
  • PABA
  • Nifedipine
  • Viagra
  • terbutalin
  • beta-carateine
  • pineapple extract

I am not sure if this will be of any help to you ... recently while surfing the internet for natural remedies to help with implantation / lining issues I found the following website ....
I have not ordered from them, so don't know if this really works ...

have a look at it for yourself and if you want to share your opinion :o)

Thanks! I've printed their info out to talk to the RE about before I invest. That stuff's expensive, at $78 for 6 weeks supply. If my RE thinks it could help, I'll spend it, though

I started taking vit E, baby asprin, flaxseed oil and doing acupuncture last cycle and my lining went from 4mm the previous cycle to 9mm. I am on cd2 and this (TMI**) is the first time I have ever had red blood instead of brown. I hope you can find something that works for you!!

Sienna322 ~ congrats on the better lining!

Sienna: thanks for the info--you give me hope! I'm already taking the vitamin E and baby aspirin, but I'll look into the flax.

Shaima: I test in 4 or 5 days, and will have a consultation only if AF shows. I'm praying I never have to ask my RE about any of this!! But JIC, it will be next week.

Default update

AF found me, so unfortunately, I made an appointment for tomorrow morning. I have printed up a few articles, and a list of suppliments and drugs I've read could help me. Fingers crossed, and I'll let you know what the RE says!

I have some big cysts that need to resolve before we try again, but in the meantime, the RE thinks some from my list are worth trying. She sort of leaves it up to me! So, I'll be taking the following for the next 3 weeks of BCP, then the 2 weeks leading up to my next O:

1000 IU vitamin E
1000 mg L-arginine
2.5 mg prednisone
81 mg aspirin
500 mg bromelain

We'll see!

Have you taken progesterone?? I 'thought' it caused your lining to increase. Ask your doc anyway.

thanks for updating!
Interesting that you are going to take Bromelain. I just read in a book a couple of days ago that it helps with implantation.

Jenna'sMum: I do take the progesterone after IUI, even though my P4 has been 40+ the last 2 cycles. It is supposed to help the lining, but since they like it to be at least 8 mm on day of trigger, I'm still way shy of that.

The bromelain (did I spell that right?) is supposed to be good for blood flow at the lining, which may be the problem. If I have poor circulation there, all the E2 I'm making isn't getting to the target cells, and they are not responding. My "triple stripe" indicates I have proliferative cells, which is good news, at least. But why they aren't proliferating is the mystery--my biopsy came back negative for infection, my mother did not take DES, so there has to be something else, maybe immunological. I won't really know for 5 weeks, but I am hopeful about there being an effective treatment!
