i last posted that my doctor wanted to take me off met eventually? well i got my blood work back today...from being on met for 2 months...and she said that my lab work was "wonderfully normal" and that i was even ovulating!!!! not ttc, but if i were, i could actually get pregnant!! so if you are ttc and need a little motivation to try met...that is just a thought. anyway...she said i was doing well on met and this makes me really happy. |

Glad to hear you are doing so well on Met.
I have just started taking it - today was my second day on 500mg!! Your post definitely gives me encouragement that this is going to be a really GOOD thing!!

Great news! I hope that getting your hormones straightened out is motivation for staying with met. It has helped so many of us, whether we are trying to do something with those eggs or not. I didn't realize for a long time how unhealthy I was when I wasn't ovulating. Women of all ages and stages of life deserve to be healthy, so thanks for teaching this one doctor a lesson. Who knows how many other women she'll be willing to help now!
