Default reminder pills

just a little FYI for you women on the pill. most of the reminder pills have a carb (starch of some sort) and suggar in them.
I never take the reminder pills when im on them, i just toss them in the trash, with PCOS i find that if i have to much sugar it makes my body all wacky, so i just never take them.

also if you are having a bad reaction to the BCP take a look at the non medical ingredents in the pill.
I react badly to Sorbatal *sp?* as well as the corn starch and lactose in some pills.

Hmm, I've never taken them either but never thought it might interact with some systems...

Just be sure that your pill isn't one of the ones that actually does have active ingredients in the last week. Most don't, but there are a few that do. I'm on Mircette, which has a very small amount of hormones in the last 5 pills. It helps to control side effects by keeping hormone levels more stable. I only have two completely hormone-free days. There are also some that have iron in the last week to help replace the iron you lose during AF. Some of these have "Fe" after the name to show that they contain iron, but I don't know if they all do. Check your particular pill first to make sure that you aren't missing anything if you don't take the reminder pills.
