...was the cause of my success so I thought I'd post in here too.

Caution, if you get grossed out don't read this, I don't mean to be so detailed, but I'm just so excited about my first "normal" AF.

Ok earlier in the year there was a thread about us talking about AF and how it was gross w/dark old blood that really stuck and was clotty and that some of us had never had a regular one...
WELLL: I started doing accupuncture and its, I don't know a little over two months maybe and it was regular or normal or whatever!!!

My first cycle on accupuncture was 34 days and this one was 30 days on the nose and I got some pretty uncomfortable cramping last night in class and I didn't have a pad or tampon and the bathroom didn't have a dispenser!!! But I made a make shift one with TP and when I went home I didn't really check it I just hopped in the shower and put in a tampon, well this morning I pulled it out and it was bright red and it didn't have that odor that usually smacks me in the face and it didn't look clotty.
I had a liner on too and I just left that on w/o putting in another tampon while I was doing things around the house and getting ready to shower. Well I peed before getting in the shower and when I wiped, there was no clots, just red blood and it didn't stink and the liner looked the same way. The flow was heavy yesterday and today but nothing a super tampon couldn't handle all night.

This is the first time in my life I haven't had a disgusting and gross period. I'm not on any meds and had fallen off the diet wagon a while back so the only thing I have to thank for this is the accupuncture. YAY!!!

Not sure if I Oed though, I don't really notice stuff like CM and I never think to examine it or anything and I always have gas pains and such so I dont' think I'd notice twinging ovaries, oh well, may I did and maybe I didn't.

I can totally understand because I was so excited at the difference that NPC made for me--outside of treatment cycles, I had never had a "normal" AF until my last 2 cycles either. Congratulations on finding what's worked for you!

So how do you use your NPC? Do you use it only on certain CDs? I have found a lot of comflicting info on how to use it and am wondering what formula worked for you.

So far I have only used it after I am sure I ovulated, if I find though that I go back to not ovulating I would also not be opposed to using it whole cycle (days 5-26 I think it is). As far as the conflicting info. . .it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Post-O is to just boost your own levels (during treatment cycles, when I by rights should have had the strongest Os, I was STILL progesterone deficient), whole-cycle use is to suppress your own hormone production and allow cysts to heal, thereby giving you a better chance next cycle. If you're menopausal you use it on a calendar day method.
