Question Replace the estrogen or decrease the testosterone?

Just a quick question regarding strategies for PCOS treatment: I am 28 years-old and I have low estrogen and high testosterone. Last week, my doctor recommended that I stop taking bcp due to migraines, even though the bcp worked beautifully at replenishing the estrogen I am lacking naturally while decreasing my high testosterone. In thinking about my next step post-bcp, I am wondering how it is possible to increase estrogen levels (and, therefore, decrease testosterone) without using HRT. Or, conversely, do treatments aimed at decreasing testosterone increase estrogen levels?

Thank you!
