Yep, you got the ol' pinched siatic nerve. It is a pain, literally. Mine hurt for like two months. The prednisone should help relieve some of the inflamation, that is why it works for ashma. Your lungs are inflamed just like your nerve is. Basically the only thing that stopped my back pain were back stretches and strenghtning exercises. Some how something reduced pressure or something. Try some stretches, even though I know it hurts. If all else fails hit the Chiropractors to get realigned. It is worth the $40. Best of luck.
