Smile REs in Oregon- I highly recomend OHSU

I just have to say that if anyone is looking for some help ttc in Oregon that the fertility clinic at OHSU is the way to go. My Dr. is Marsh Gorill. She took the time to reevaluate my orriginal diagnosis. Best of all was the fact she not only talked to me but listened to me. This is a group practice, and a lot of time it's not just your dr caring for you. But they are truly amazing, and extremely coordinated. They followed me very closely from miles away. I live in So. OR and they let me go to another OB for all of my scans and blood draws. It's just amaing if you think about it. Drs are not paid for their knowledge, they are paid by procedure, so they didn't make much caring for me. Their staff was all kind and curtious. They were very prompt at contacint me, sending orders to the OBs office, follow up with me on test results, and returing phone calls. I really could not have asked for a better experience. It was well worth the drive. My husband and I tried for years before seeking the help of an RE. We made our first visit to OHSU in Feb of 07 and were pregnant by Aug of 07. I was beginning to lose hope until I sough their help. Thanks to Dr. Gorill and her staff we are now expecing twins in about 2-3 weeks. If you are in Oregon they are so worth the drive. They are amazing.

Thanks for posting about your experience. I went to Portland Reproductive Medicine because it took my insurance, but the only difference was a $50 copay instead of $30. I guess if I had to go in a lot it would add up, but I might be willing to pay the little extra to get a doctor who was more caring.
