Default Resistant to Metformin therapy?

Hve been on Met for anout 4 yrs now. It has helped me lose 80 lbs over 3 yr time span. After giving birth 4 months ago. It just seems to be doing nothing for me anymore. Can't lose the baby weight, increased appetite and cravings. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else after once being so effective. Maybe get any meds added?

Metformin doesn't seem to be working for me anymore either if anything I have put weight on after losing 20kg's when I first started on it I take 3000mg a day, have constant sugar cravings and have been told the only way I'll lose the weight is by gastric banding which I can't afford.
