The world in which we currently live is so cruel I would never want to bring a child into it by choice. There are so many children out there in need of a good home and loving parents and though we may never conceive we are lucky if we are able to make a childs life happy. I have nothing but respect and admiration for you ladies who have or want to adopt a child in the future!
But also thank my beautiful daughters for even entering my life to begin with!

I have to say thank you, But as the new mother to 2 girls, I have to say admire them. Because they are so strong. My girls are 7 and 8 and they have been strung all over the world, from several different homes, you name it. And they still have the ability to LOVE. I admire them more than anything in the world. Because let me tell you nothing is better than getting a hug from your children.
I had to post again because I totally agree with Lisa and Cassandra. My little guy has been through horrible treatment and alot of this at the hands of his so called relatives, we seem to be finding out something new everyday. After almost three weeks of living with us he finally tells us "I love you" without us saying it first and I know from what he has told us that this is very hard for him.

I would like to say "thank you" As a former foster mom and a future adoptive mom next summer (yippee)!! However, I'd like to give all the Respect to the BM who had to give her child up that she loved so much to have a better life....thats so much harder., and to God for whom I wouldn't be blessed with my daughter or son in the future. I'm extatic and think often of what it will be like and what its like right now for the BM and pray that God watches over the BM even though we may not share the same faith or God.....we share the same child ((sigh already I'm dreaming....is this normal..I'm not even paperchasing yet)) And Thank you...you are kinda and gracious! :O)

4 years ago we were ttc and after 9/11 I went through that same feeling of with the turmoil happening in the world how could we bring a child into it. My husband and I talked a lot about it and came to the conclusion that children are the hope for this world. Whether we have biological children or adoptive children it's our duty as parents and a community to raise loving and compassionate human beings. It's a privaledge and a sacred gift to be a parent I think. I appreciate your comments but really I think I will be the lucky one to be able to have this blessing of raising a child. My admiration goes to the birthmom who gives me the biggest gift of my life.
