Default restarting Met after a break

Hello
I took Met from oct 07 to Mar 08 and it made me v tired (or so i thought) so stopped it for 6wks, and im now re starting it (I was previously on 850mg twice a day) now im just doing 850mg once a day, at lunchtime.
Previously i got my periods every 4 wks on met but they were painful prolonged and i had bad pmt, so hoping a lower dose will be better. Also hoping to lose a few pounds as they piled on a bit after stopping met, even in just 6 wks.
Has anyone else found this, how did you get on restarting met?
Thx
