Default Restless legs?

I know it's probably unrelated to PCOS but sometimes I get a really icky feeling in legs when I lay down to sleep at night. It's most often accompanied with a creepy feeling going up and down my spine. The other night I had it and the next morning my bf told me I kept kicking my legs while I slept.

I don't have it often thankfully, so I can't help but wonder if it's related to something I ate. If anyone knows about this Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) and has any useful information, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Don't know if it is related but I have it and sometimes it helps to get up and wash your feet to help you sleep (don't know why this helps perhaps mind over matter thing)

My brother has RLS. I think he took something called Syroquil (not sure of the spelling) and that seemed to help quite a bit. I would talk to your doctor about it. Good luck!

I started Clomid this month and it gave me the worst restless legs! I dreaded going to sleep at night because I knew I'd be uncomfortable. My mother has had this problem for a long time and got a presciption for quinine from her doctor, it worked well, but unfortunately a TON of warnings have come out against it, so it's no longer an option. Not sure that the deal is with all the new prescriptions on the market. Make sure they don't contain quinine!

Thanks, that's all really helpful. I'm not on Clomid but I'll def try washing my feet before bed and see if that helps!

Ohhhhhh man. Here is a topic I can relate to. I have it. It doesn't happen every night, but it is often. I get this terrible tingling in my feet and calves. Sometimes it is so bad that I get out of bed and just stomp my feet, because it feels like there are ants crawling all over me.

I've dealt with RLS for years. I've always forgot to ask my dr about it except for once and that was ignored. Anyways - recently I've found something over the counter that's really helped.

I found it at Walgreens for about $6-7. It's called Restfull Legs and it's made by Hylands. It's helped my a ton. I was in shock when 5-10 minutes later most of my issues with it were gone. It's an orally disolving tablet and I think the dosage is like 2-3. Not much flavor in it.

Hope you can find it and that it works for ya! I know all to welll how it is to miss a nights sleep and be so totally annoyed. Good luck!
