My Mood: Points: 27,025.79 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 27,025.79 | Restless sleep? Hi ladies -
I have a question... had my D&C almost 3 weeks ago (will be on Oct 24) and ever since them I most not be sleeping well. I wake up every morning just dragging and it doesn't matter if I go to sleep early or not. I don't remember waking up during the night - yet I must because I can't get my energy back which in turn is making me even more emotional than ever! Has anyone else experienced this
At work I'm surrounded my pregnancy or babies... 1 girl (across from me)is 8 months pg... the guy next to her wives 5 month (due 6 weeks before my would have been)... then I have 2 girls that have babies about 4 months old right next to me and I swear all I hear about 8 hours a day is BABIES, BABIES, and more BABIES!! I feel like I am losing my mind and just don't want to hear about it for a bit - can't we just take about the weather or the upcoming Christmas season?!?!
Thanks for listening!!

you are funny! I liked your hormone joke - sounds like something I would usually tell ! How dare your GP go on maternity leave!! LOL
Actually I LOVE England!! I went to school in Bracknell about 45 minutes from London my 1st year in college and since then have had soft spot for England. So where in England do you live?
My kitties are great - they will both be 6 years old in just a few days. They are such lovers and are like little dogs in that they like to follow you around and sit on your lap!
Thanks for the message!

nope wasn't on the May 2006 mommy thread - I was about joining and now I guess I know why.
Bracknell is west of London over near Reading; not sure where Heathrow is from there.
You mean as in you giving them a bath? No my kitties do not like those at all; in fact I wouldn't want to give them one unless I absolutely had to. However, my 2 kitties are indoor kitties so they don't get dirty. Now they do love to clean themselves and are 2 of the cleanest cats I know.
I know you were having a down day and glad that a call to your friend made you feel better! Nothing beats the kind of friend that can bring a smile to your face when you were down.
Take care!!

Points: 1,301.45 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,301.45 | I had trouble sleeping after my m/c and was always so exhausted at work. I think it is also very draining having to see and deal with others that are pregnant or seeing others with babies. I always thought I was so worn out because it takes so much effort to pretend you aren't dying inside.
I'm very sorry for the loss of your baby.

thanks for the response! I to feel that I'm "emotional" tired and so that is why I want to sleep or cry all the time. I try to put on a good face at work because being down at work really doesn't help and it only makes others act strange towards me.
Congrats on the weightloss!!! So how are you doing it? I really need to get motivated and would like to loss some weight before TTC again.

hope you guys have more good days soon, bless our little angels

Points: 1,301.45 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,301.45 | Michelle, I have lost weight by going to Weight Watchers. When my re put me on met, she recommended Weight Watchers so I decided to try it. I love it. I don't feel like I am dieting because no food is off limits. I weigh-in in about 1 hour and am hoping I will make my first goal of 10%, which would be 20 pounds.

Great job on the loss so far!!! Keep up the good work!! You go GIRL! I just wanted to know if you hit your 10% goal? I joined WW a few years ago and really enjoyed it but just to much money right now. I am starting up dieting again and following a lot of the principles I used previously!

I got a keychain in class and also a charm with hands clapping and a 16 on it. I didn't know what the charm was for and didn't want to look silly by asking. I asked on the SoulCysters weight watchers board and the ladies there knew the answer. It was for attending 16 consecutive meetings without missing one. I still have 50 pounds to lose to get to where I was when I was pregnant. It's weird because I thought I was fat back then and I was going through my pregnancy and baby stuff last week and there were a few pictures of me when I was pregnant. How I wish I looked like that again!
