Default Restored AF--I'm so excited!

Ok so I have never ever ever in my whole life--I'm almost 28--had a natural AF without having to take provera/medroxyprogesterone for the 10 days or be on some sort of birth control. I started taking Met the first week of december and a round of provera and got AF. Now 32 days later without taking any other meds except my 1500mg Met XR and my SYnthroid I have my very own AF naturally. I am just soooo excited. I know it's weird to be excited over it but I never in a million years thought it would work.

Wow! Congratulations!

Isn't it nice to begin to re-build some trust in your body? Before I took Met, I always felt like my body was abandoning me...I had no trust in its ability to do what it "should". Not a great feeling.

We started a thread on Metformin Success stories. You should hunt that down and post your success. It will be a big help to other Cysters who need some encouragement about taking Met.

Congrats Again!
Amanda

Isnt it amazing? Ive been on Met about a year now, and ever since about July, My periods have been....REGULAR. I can't even beleive it. I keep expecting this month to be the one where it stops working, but it doesnt! And my BBT's have gone WAY up into the "normal" range. I Met!

That is super exciting! It's amazing how something so little that so many complain about can make you feel so happy!

Congratulations!

I've been on Met since November & still no period (last one in August), but feel like it's right there, heavy cramps but nothing. C'mon help me out gals, did any of you go through this? I'm so frustrated i feel like throwing in the towel, but i cant. I'm also taking Armour for Hashimoto's. Did any of you feel like this just shortly before your AF? I'm not TTC (i'm a 44 y/o mom & grandma)
