Default Restoring cycles and ovulation with natural remeidies

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has ever restored their cycles and began ovulating on their own by just taking natural remedies, and if so what did you take to help you. I never have periods on my own and would just love to try and restore them naturally.

I would be grateful for any advice

Take care Carrie

In terms of herbal remedies, chaste tree berries (vitex agnus-castus), is often reccomended for balancing female hormones.
I've personally had success with chickweed (Stellaria media). Chickweed does not affect etrogen and progesterone, but it can dissolve ovarian cysts. It's also good for insulin resistance.

I've read a lil about Vitex and I've only heard good things about it, which I might try myself. I haven't heard about chickweed though any more info on that pls. send?

I did with acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies, changing to a smart carb diet and soy (once I started ovulating). But this is a pretty expensive route to go.

Personally vitex messed up my cycles.

Keep in mind that herbs, as well as meds affect different individuals in different ways.

I have been able to restore my cycles and relieve alot of my other symptoms.
I came across this web site www.pcos.insulitelabs.com

In November I ordered the product and since then I:

no longer have mood swings, angry-crying-depression,
my facial hair has lessoned,
my hair on my head is no longer falling out in handfuls,
no anxiety attacks,
no migraines, I use to have at least 2 a month,
i'm full of energy,
My right ovary has been in constant pain for 30 years. It no longer hurts,
I'm not constantly craving food,
I have had 2 periods and the best thing is I had no warning symptoms that I was about to start.

For me this is the "magic pill" that I've been looking for.

I just wish that insurance would cover natural remedies.

I'm logging onto all the PCOS sites that I know of and telling everyone about this product. I feel like it has saved my life. No, I'm not associated with this company in any way. Just one of their customers.

I regulated my cycles with Vitex. I don't know if it made me ovulate or not. I think what herbs work for you depends on what type os PCOS you have.

I get a "regular" cycle but usually don't ovulate. Vitex lengthened my cycles by a week and I didn't ovulate, but my LH was high to begin with.

I got pregnant using the supplements listed in my signature. I think it also helped though that my ovaries had gotten a rest by being previously pregnant & breastfeeding, and then I started with the NPC as soon as my cycles returned, so I think I never had a chance to build up too many cysts.

It takes either an expert to help you or some time, lots of research, and experimentation to find what works for you.

Good luck.
