I hate to sound all dramatic but Retin-A micro has truly been a God send. I have had acne all of my life and I never felt that the doctors ever cared. I guess I never had the right insurance. I've always had HMOs, and the doctors would never refer me to a dermatologist. They would prescribe oral antibiotics that never worked. Anyway, I finally have a PPO. I went for a visit to the dermatologist and she prescribed Retin-A micro. About a week later, my sister asked me what I was doing because my face was looking better. That's when I knew it was really working. I had seen a change but I thought it was just me being hopeful. The thing that I love about it the most is that it got rid of the pock marks I had near my temples. I wish I had used it sooner.

I should have seen a dermatolgist sooner. When I looked at the bill it was only a $75 visit, I only had to pay $20 due to my insurance. But, I would have gladyly paid $75 to clear my skin. I have spent way more than that over the years.

Is anyone else using Retin-A? Let me know how it has worked (or not) for you.

Just dx w\ PCOS yesterday. Now I have an excuse for my acne.....LOL!

I have realy clear skin but have "milia" on my chin and retin A has helped so much.. way to go..........
