I had an account awhile ago, but I didn't really use it much and thought things were looking up so I stopped using it all together and then things got worse again so I'm back.

I'm almost 24 and I've had PCOS for about 2 1/2-3 years. Lucky enough for me I got married at 19 and had my first child at 20 and the second at 21. My problems started when I was pregnant with my first son and then went downhill really fast after that.

I'm currently on metformin (1000 mg) daily for 9 months and nothing else. I'm not sure that it's working for me. I think weight loss has worked more than the medication. I finally started having periods again (it been almost a year) I had one in Feb and now I'm having another, but they aren't normal. I just feel like nothing is working and it's starting to get on my nerves. I wish things would look up and I'm sure they will at some point, but until then maybe I find some helpful info, friends, and hope here.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear about the circumstances under which you came back to SC. But hopefully you can find some good support and info here again. I hope things begin to look up for you!
