Default Rice recipes

I absolutely adore rice but after tomato rice that someone suggested im kinda stuck for ideas, and it gets boring very quickly.

Does anyone have any good recipes? I cant eat really spicy food so that maybe limits me?

Any suggestions would be great Thanks x

I like having rice with chicken in knorr honey & mustard sauce { they dont overdo it with the mustard and they do a low fat version too } just stir it altogether, yum yum

what my roommate does is she makes this nice fried rice dish. She stir fries veggies and chicken then breaks open an egg in it, once the egg is cooked she adds the cooked rice, lets it cook for a bit, adds some soy sauce and there you go. its pretty tasty and not at all spicy since my roommie doesnt eat anything spicy either.

also a good way to make rice is to do it in the microwave in a casserole dish with some onion soup mix added in, some water chestnuts and mushrooms. it makes a nice side dish.

I do a really low fat recipe for rice that I love, make rice according to package directions for 2 cups cooked. mix with one can, rinsed and drained, of black beans and 1/2 cup of your favorite salsa - you can buy extra mild - and heat through. Wrap mixture up in your favorite tortilla, with 1 tablespoon shredded cheese, lettuce, veggies, sour cream and enjoy! If you like a little spice, add more salsa. I love hot sauce and usually add that. But DH likes them mild and they are VERY filling.
