Default Right side very painful

Just a question I've been having a sharp nagging pain on the right side kinda where my ovary is, I asked my dr about it and she said I probably have a cyst and after a couple months on bcp it should go away. Problem is I have been on the bcp for about 6 weeks and it seemed to get worse when AF arrived, any ideas on what to do?? cuz it hurts all the time!!

I have the same issue. Just Wednesday, the pain was so severe that I thought I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy. I checked my temp and it was lower than normal (97.5). The pain subsided the following day. Temperature was slightly above normal (98.9). I came to the conclusion that I was ovulating. I don't have the pain every month, but when I do, it may be on either the right or the left. I do have a cyst on my right ovary. However, I think the ovulation pain must be associated with the PCOS. It seems to worsen as I get older.
