Smile Rinsing with ice cold water.....

I've noticed that when i rinse my hair with ice cold water (after shampooing) then it looks a bit fuller when it's dry. Thought I'd pass on this little advice (maybe some of you may already know about it...and i am the only one who didn't until yesterday...lol). Seriously though, it seems to make a difference for my styling.

good to know! I always heard that rinsing with really cold water would make your hair shinier because the follicles would lay down better. I stopped it because I'm a big baby about being cold....but I have serious volume issues so maybe I should start it up again!

I went to a beauty school a long time ago and when they washed and rinsed my hair it was ice cold water they used. That was the worst experience and I haven't been back to any beauty school after that lol. The girl even supposedly conditioned my hair and then when she was done and trying to brush it out she was NOT gentle at all. I said something to the head lady and walked out with a half combed and dripping wet hair. I'd rather use warm water...Glad it worked out good for you though!

My grandma told me that she used to rinse her hair with ice water to make it shiny.

I had to take a cool shower today, so I will see if it works for me. Our water heater is outside and there was a huge storm last night so the pilot light blew out.
