We got an email today from the adoption specialist and..........
HE IS CALLING EARLY NEXT WEEK TO SET UP AN INTERVIEW WITH DH AND I.
Oh man, I almost peed my pants....good thing I had just gone to the bathroom. He said he had reviewed our homestudy and everything looked good. He did say though that an Aunt has expressed interest but it hadn't been determined if she would be appropriate or not.
We will have to drive about 6 hours north east of us for the interview but we would drive 10 times that if it means we may get to adopt this precious little boy.
I know this is going to sound really bad and I apologize but I am hoping the Aunt isn't appropriate. The life this little boy has had so far has been absolutely horrible. He has siblings strung out all over the United States and I know family is suppose to always be best, but man oh man we haven't even seen his picture yet and we are in love. I know it will sound crazy and I have felt this before but I just know in my heart this boy could be our son.
Okay keep those prayers going ladies and we are going to stay Positive. Send me those Positive vibes girls I am waiting for the BFP.

You know all through our first year of fostering our dd that is all that we hear, "Family is Family". I finally started answering the cw back, "Family should not let family suffer". Oh and the judge, CPS, the GAL and even the attorney for the bio dad agreed that our dd should stay with us and not be moved. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Good luck!!

Not one single word. He was suppose to call early last week to set up an interview and we haven't had a call or even an email. I did email him last Thursday and again nothing. Now of course I am paranoid about what happened. He said our homestudy looked good. I so hate this, DH says to be patient and just wait. But what am I waiting on, why was things so great a week and a half ago and then zippo. I am getting ready to send out a ton of homestudies again to see if I can get anymore bits.
Things around here are just blah! Work stink, my life stinks and I just don't know what to do.
