Question Rogaine for women

Hello,
Has anyone used Rogaine for women? If you have, how was the result? How quickly you saw improvement. Any other information would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I am currently using it. I have only been using it for a month and it clearly states that it takes at least 4 months to see any results. So I will be giving it 5 months and then decide from there. I will keep everyone posted as to how it goes for me.

Have you done a search for hair loss forums? There are a couple out there are very informative. Personally, I'm scared to death to try rogaine due to the "dread shed".

Here are a couple of forums to visit:

keratin.net
hairsite.com

Good luck,
Dani

I have been using the Target brand. I only use it in the mornings so the box has lasted five months. I am at the end of the fifth month. I and my hairdresser have noticed a lot of new hair growth at the roots. When I look at the top of my head, I see less scalp. Very happy about that!
I have decided to continue to use this product. I like the Target brand - I compared the ingredients to the Rogaine for women. Everything was the same - only cheaper.

Default Hi....New here....

I hope you don't mind my barging in on your question......I've heard that once you start Rogaine that you can't stop? Something about your hair never growing on it's own anymore....Please tell me this is NOT true!!!!! I want to start using it soon. I'm also worried about the "dread shed".

It is true that you have to continue using Rogaine, but that is just because if you stop using it you will begin losing hair just like you were before. Rogaine doesn't do anything to you to make you lose hair the rest of your life.....it just prevents the hair loss you are allready experiencing. Hope that makes sense.

Holly--almost 3 months of use and noticing some growth.
