My name is Joey. I can't figure out how to insert a picture into this post, but here I am: www.soulcysters.net/member.php?u=39720. I'm 28 and am a lawyer in Chicago. I have a partner of 5 1/2 yrs, an extremely cute doberman and two cats. Dp and I are getting married sometime before Thanksgiving (the timing is a long story) and planning to start TTC in June. I've got the baby bug big time. I've already bought several this-is-how-big-your-baby-is-this-month type books and I can't wait to get started. It will be the first grandchild on both sides.
I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago, although I've had symptoms since puberty. I complained about the symptoms to at least 6 doctors over the years who dismissed them as normal until a nurse practitioner finally diagnosed me (proof that nurses are often smarter than doctors). I didn't take it very seriously until a couple of months ago when I started seriously thinking of getting pg. |

I work as a drug and alcohol counselor and love it. I was born and raised in Wyoming. Moved to Denver the same year as diagnosed with POCS so that was a huge year for me. I saw a Dr. right out of her residence. She took one look at me and told she has a feeling I had this thing called PCOS. Well after a few test sure enough that was what is was. It was a really bumpy ride at 1st learning all the stuff that can go with this. I found a great LNP that knew tons about PCOS so for the last 5 years things have been going great. I meant my dp a year ago today J She is nothing but understanding about this PCOS and has learned things from soulcysters and by asking me. We have 3 cats and a dog. We are not sure about kids yet. She is 12 years older then me and is past having kids and with me it would be a hard thing to me to TTC due to other health issues. We are not leaving out the adoption possibility have talked about it but it on hold for a while. I have a picture in my profile and like Joey I don’t remember how to post it here. http://www.soulcysters.net/member.php?u=725

Well I am Erika. I'm 19 and I've been with A for a year and 2 months. I've always had the baby bug and we will be TTC in hopefully a year. (Maybe a little more...there are a few factors here!) We currently live in a two bedroom apartment with our two 'children' , Grace and Nacho. And we are from Alabama...

My Mood: Points: 17,642.63 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 17,642.63 | Hi ladies,
I'm Mel (Melanie) from Ottawa, ON - Canada. I'm 28 - was diagnosed at the age of 13. I've been with my girl for 5 months (today actually lol) but we first met back in 1999. I work in advertising - in aviation actually but looking for a change of career. I've been through quite a bit but finally I think my doctor and i have found the perfect med combo to keep this PCOS under control. Only thing left to work on right now aside from the weight loss in progress are the mood swings but the rest is good! hurray! haha
Anyway, nice to meet you all :-) I haven't posted here in some time so I am hoping to back into it and see how everyone's doing.
Take care!
