From what I can understand there is no massive urgency with actioning Kat's request. Some of us don't post during the weekend, or even check in, mostly because we're out and about busy doing things. I'm sure Sian would have started a new thread once she checked in!
For Everyone's Info... Kats request has been modified. Threads that run for a long time should be restarted at the beginning of every month rather than every five pages. I think that will make things a lot easier for the threads on this board, particularly the weight loss and ttc threads, which are extremely supportive!
Oh and to say im offically ttc again yipee ..... I started taking 120mg of soy today so were see what happens im also charting and doing opks so feel free to check my chart if you want to.

I am really excited and am really just hoping i can get msyelf ovuating that would be like christmas for me but i feel a lot more posative about things so its all good.

Thank you! You are very welcome. It's not easy when ttc...so really hope you get ovulation going soon. I can remember when I was trying to get pregnant with Dara and my cycles pretty much regulated I was so excited. And when I got the blood test confirming ovulation when I was trying to get pregnant this time with clomid I cried in the nurses room! What seems like a small thing to most is monumental to us.
I went for my appointment with the consultant today to discuss the goings on at my last appointment.
What a waste of time! First of all they tried to send me in to see the same dr, I refused so had then to wait for consultant to be free. She basically listened to why I was upset, apologised for her colleague but then said that what I had been told was right, but hadn't been communicated very well.
She told me they don't offer a second round of 3 cycles of Clomid because it can increase the risk of ovarian cancer (surely that's my decision, personally I'd risk it.) and that with a second set of three you have to be monitored more closely with regular scans etc and that my hospital doesn't have the resources.
She then tells me that I DON'T have PCOS!!!!!
I get a different opinion on that each time I go, so basically now she wants me to continue losing weight (tell me something I didn't know!) have a day 21 and 28 progesterone and keep a cycle diary (which I do anyway) and come back in 4 months. If I'm not pg by then she'll refer me to the fertility clinic in Leeds, but we'd have to pay as we already have 1 child.
So if anyone has £5000 knocking about that they don't need, ll donations gratefully received! Or I need to sell 2500 bars of soap!!

awww sorry it didnt go well today jen! what a waste of time surely its your decision whether to do clomid again and i dont understand what you have to pay for? is it ivf? sorry if i sound dumb!!
treeze- im praying the soy works for you ive been thinking about trying it to will see how the clomid goes. glad to see youre still losing weight!! keep us updated!

paddy- how is pregnancy treating you?? did you have many side effects on clomid? first month was full of them this month hardly anything one or two hot flushes thats it!!!
cant remember if i posted in the last thread or not but think i missed O this month had an alomost positive opk on thursday but then got admitted into hospital on thursday night with my gallstones again and was in until saturday so im certain i missed O cos obviously we couldnt BD this month is def a bust unless DH has super sperm lol!
