Just thought I would post and say how glad I am that the Soap I watch is dealing with pregnancy loss issues. On All my Children on ABC, Greenlee lost her baby in the first trimester because of autoimmune problems. Ok, so they twisted the plot and the baby's dad died (or so Greenlee thought) and she had stolen his sperm he had frozen years ago to get pg in the first place and now her best friend is being implanted with his sperm and Greenlee's eggs and the plot is twisting more... but nonetheless it is dealing with pregnancy loss and how one woman (as far fetched as it may be) has to deal with a loss.
I know its really crazy... but at least every show doesnt go the route of every pg ends with a perfect baby. Makes me feel TV is getting more sensitive to issues other than portraying a perfect life.

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of him." I Samuel 1:27
The issue now w/ AMC is that they said there is no treatment for it which anyone that's done any research knows that there is. So it's good that they're bringing it up, they're just not doing it in the right way and possiblly upsetting other women that have immune issues and thinking that their case is hopeless. I know people shouldn't depend on TV shows (soaps especially) for medical advise but if they're going to have a storyline like this, they should atleast get it right.

Hi there! Actually, I wrote a letter to All My Children (Traci saw a copy of it) and told them they are not "Medically Correct" and cited myself as an instance. I never heard back from them, and don't expect to, but it sure made me feel better.
I'm glad they are raising awareness using their storylines, but I wish they'd at least have the facts straight!
