Default RPL Testing covered by OHIP?

I just had my 3rd miscarriage (first 2nd trimester loss) and am being referred to Dr. Laskin (in Toronto) for recurent pregnancy loss testing. Just wondering if any or all of it is covered by OHIP?

Firstly, let me start by saying that I am very sorry to hear of your losses. It is really unfair. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better but if you need to talk, chat or vent don't hesitate to send me a pm.

(The following mentions pregnancy & miscarriages)
I started RPL testing while still in Ontario.
Everything at that time(3 years ago) was covered. However, we opted to do some of our testing through the U.S. after we were told the results of our chromosomal testing could take up to 6+ months or longer for the results. At the time we had hoped it would bring us closure of having answers sooner. Unfortunately after spending $1000 we discovered that our chromosomes were perfectly fine and our second trimester loss of our twins were because of chorioamnioitis(sp?) (A bacteria known by GBS got in through my incompetent cervix and ate away at the protective membrane killing each twin off one by one and in the end almost killing me too). Had we had any idea that this was the case at the time, we would have just went through the testing in Ontario and saved the $$$ for additional treatments.
We have since discovered through a doctor here in BC that followed up with further testing and discovered that my so called borderline thyroid hormone results ended up being because of my antithyroid antibodies which were 3x the maximum level. My thyroid is being killed off by being attacked by my immune system. This was likely the cause for my first miscarriage but there is no way to tell now.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Again I am sorry to hear what you are going through and I hope you get some answers soon.

Thanks for sharing your story with me. I figured ant genetic testing would be a long wait but we won't even begin testing for another couple of weeks.
